Emmelie de Forest

Danish artist Emmelie de Forest might be most famous for winning the Eurovision Song Contest, but she is also an acclaimed songwriter having written over 80 songs for herself and for other artists. Aged 14, she met the Glaswegian folk artist Fraser Neill – a Danish resident since the mid 90’s – at a festival in Ajstrup. The duo spent the next five years touring in Denmark and releasing the album Emmelie de Forest & Fraser Neill.
